We’re excited to share some wonderful news! Thanks to the generous support of the National Lottery Community Fund, our preschool will be receiving a fantastic refurbishment this summer. The grant will allow us to improve and refresh our learning spaces, creating an even brighter, safer, and more inspiring environment for our children to learn, play, and grow.
The main preschool room will be equipped with a brand new block of children’s toilets, replacing the current facilities and also updating the children’s hand wash area. This new layout will create space for a free-standing stepped changing area, helping staff support children more easily and safely.
We will also be introducing a dedicated kitchen area, allowing food to be stored and prepared safely away from the children. In addition, a new lobby area for parents will be created to provide a more comfortable space for arrivals and collections at the start and end of each day.
To complete the transformation, new flooring will be installed throughout the entire preschool, and the walls will be redecorated, giving the whole setting a fresh, bright new look for our children to enjoy.
Work is scheduled to take place over the summer break, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back to a beautifully updated preschool ready for many more adventures in learning. Stay tuned as we share updates on the progress of our makeover!
