Our Team

Rachel

Christchurch Preschool is led and managed by our highly experienced Preschool Manager Rachel Hawes. “I’ve been working at Christchurch Preschool since April 2007, working my way up to become the manager.

I am level 3 qualified and I am a deputy designated safeguarding lead, Paediatric First Aid trained, food hygiene trained and have recently completed the CACHE level 3 SENCO training to become the settings SENCO.

I enjoy being creative, through drawing, writing and playing the piano. I also like challenging myself to learn new skills – most recently taking up crochet using YouTube videos to teach myself the skills I need. I also enjoy cooking and baking and spending time with my husband and two children. “
